Do you want to run a Virtual Assistant business?
Or perhaps you have started but feel that you just don’t have it together yet?
Start today and you could be fully set up in just a few weeks.
I began my business “A Clayton’s Secretary” in 1994, knowing very little about running a business, let alone being a Virtual Assistant (VA). In those days we were known as home-based secretaries but the introduction of the Internet soon changed the nature of how we operated our businesses and serviced our clients. The changing technologies also vastly changed what we did in business and increased the number of services that could be provided. I was in the fortunate position of being able to grow my business as the Internet was growing. What I did have in my background was 20+ years of secretarial/admin support so I knew how to look after people and I had training experience.
Today there are so many opportunities for creating an online business, some with promises that you don’t need to know anything or do much to succeed. We all know that it is most important that you do have some knowledge and experience in whatever you choose to do. In this case, Virtual Assistance. It doesn’t mean having experience as a VA but, rather, that you have experience in the services you intend to provide. Whether that be word-processing, data entry, social media support, database management, transcriptions – you really are only limited by your own abilities. And those abilities can grow and increase over time as you build your VA business.

However, the course will give information on the use of programs/services that are not common to corporate administrative work, such as use of FTP programs and other web based programs.
How does this course work? After registration you will receive a login for the course which is available in PDF format. There are a total of 13 topics and you can work through them at your own pace. Once you have gone through the topics there will be a number of assignments to complete which will assess your understanding and knowledge of the course topics. So this is a self-paced course but there are regular email follow ups to help keep you focused and on track.

What do past VA Trainer Students say?
I cannot overstate the value of “A Clayton’s Secretary” (ACS) VA Coaching & Education Course. The training helped me organize; differentiate myself from others and to present my unique value. The course was very informative and provided in-depth insight to the latest technology in the industry. Also, I received valuable information and extra links to retrieve more information on becoming a very successful and sought after VA in the industry. I highly recommend the ACS coaching and hope to utilize their other courses in the near future; to enhance my VA practice more efficiently.

When I first started I was amazed at how much I knew and didn’t know. I had a lot of experiences whereby I would go ‘Wow – I didn’t know that!”. I also spent some hours doing extra research as I would get totally engrossed in what I was looking at. This course opened my eyes to a whole new world. I thought I had a pretty good grip on what was going on until I started. I found so much information I was able to put into practice straight away and was very impressed with the extra links to find information. I loved the education evenings and the extra information that guided us to different sites.
